Founded by seven students

About

A nonprofit making education easier to reach, run by Long Island high schoolers.

Why we started.

Seven students from Syosset and Jericho wanted good tutoring to be easier to reach.

Gary Han, Daniel Chen, Jack Li, Albert Zhang, Andrew Liu, Leo Dai and Michael Ren did it the direct way: older students teaching younger ones.

A high schooler remembers what made algebra click. That memory is the method.

In one sentence

Good teaching should not depend on who you know or what you can pay.

What we hold to.

Teach it well

A tutor who knows it and takes the time.

Open to everyone

Whatever the background, whatever the pace.

Make it stick

Games, projects, real examples.

Where the money goes.

More than $35,000 raised; about $3,500 to cancer research; tutoring subsidized.
